March is Women’s History Month and NLL is celebrating the works of three women artists from our community. Their works will be displayed in the library’s corridor throughout the month of March. Read on about each of our talented artists:
Artist Bios
Jenna Buscher
Jenna Buscher is an artist, entrepreneur, and full-time student with a passion for creativity and sustainability. In 2021, she started B Good 2 All, a community-driven initiative that turns discarded materials into something meaningful. Jenna’s goal is to inspire others to rethink waste, support local makers, and shop secondhand. Balancing school and work, Jenna is always looking for new ways to blend art with sustainability. She believes small actions can make a big impact, and together, we can turn what’s overlooked into something beautiful. Facebook.
Ivy Hinrichs
Ivy Hinrichs is an artist from Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She currently resides there and works out of her studio as a freelance artist painting, illustrating and working on public art projects within the community. Color always played a huge role in her artwork and still does. During her college career at Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Ivy focused on primarily painting but also enjoyed studying color theory. As a published children’s book illustrator and artist of over 30+ years, she is continually evolving her work in new and interesting ways. Facebook.
Shrravonii Paul
Shrravonii Paul is an organizational development psychologist, trainer, coach, and speaker, with a strong background in industrial psychology. A creative at heart, Shrravonii is also a talented painter and author. Her artistic expression is reflected in her book, “The Musings of a Wandering Mind,” and her vibrant acrylic paintings on canvas. Shrravonii’s unique blend of psychology, neuroscience, holistic art, and business acumen makes her a sought-after expert in her field. LinkedIn.
