Outside Storytime

We are excited to offer in-person, outdoor Storytime! Grab a blanket and join us on the grassy area next to the Community Center playground for storytime.

Tuesday mornings, 10:30 a.m.
Tuesday morning will be geared toward babies and toddlers, consisting of 1-2 books and a variety of songs.
Register for a Baby Storytime Kit (shaker, scarves, and a board book) that can be picked up at storytime. One kit per family and please bring the kit to storytime each week as we will not have items available for communal use.

Wednesday mornings, 10:30 a.m
Wednesdays will be geared toward ages 3-5 and will consist of 3-4 books and a variety of songs.

*Though there is a suggested age group for each storytime we encourage you to try them all and find the best fit for you and your child.

StoryWalk® is an innovative and delightful way for children — and adults! — to enjoy reading and the outdoors at the same time. Laminated pages from a children’s book are attached to yard signs, which are installed along an outdoor path. As you stroll down the trail, you’re directed to the next page in the story.

**The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Vermont Bicycle & Pedestrian Coalition and the Kellogg Hubbard Library.
