2024 Summer Reading Program

All ages are invited to participate in the North Liberty Library’s Summer Reading Program. This summer’s “Read. Return. Repeat” themed program challenges participants to complete 35 reading or activity sessions between June 3 and August 2, 2024.

Earn Prizes

  • This year in place of a t-shirt, Hills Bank has sponsored a reusable water bottle. Everyone will get a water bottle and the opportunity to collect stickers throughout the summer by attending events such as Let Love Fly or Camp North Liberty, by visiting the Book Bike or Storywalk, and completing the summer challenge.
  • Teens, 6th-12th grade, can get one scratch ticket daily for using the space, checking out a book, or attending a program.
  • Upon completion of the Summer Reading Program, each person will get a free book and be entered into the prize drawing.
    • Preschool & under: choice of binSpire Bin drawing (Ocean Adventure, Unicorn Fantasy, or Dinosaur)
    • K-12th grade: choice of gift card drawing (Amazon, Marcus Theatres, or Defy)
    • Adult: choice of gift basket drawing (Morning Sun Massage & Spa Gift Certificate, Chocolates from A Chocolate Studio in North Liberty, or Rotating Compost Bin and Tools)
