Beltane Baskets
Happy May Day! Or if you celebrate the Pagan Tradition, happy Beltane. Beltane falls between the Spring Equinox and the Summer Solstice and is widely celebrated in Scotland and Ireland. Recreation and library staff will personally deliver Beltane Baskets to your front door on May 1st, full of treats and items to make your day brighter. Sign up quickly because spots are limited!

Join Orchestra Iowa’s talented String, Percussion, Woodwind, and Brass chamber ensembles as they introduce preschool-aged children to the instruments of the orchestra! Focused on fun and learning, Pied Piper concerts offer children the opportunity to enjoy an up-close and personal chamber concert. Concerts last about 30mins, May is Brass!

Jump start summer and sign up for the summer reading program with a foam party and water fun on the Ranshaw House lawn. This event is part of the City Slate.
