Nick Johnson is a multidisciplinary artist, primarily focusing on printmaking and drawing, while fostering client relationships as a freelance graphic designer. He founded Missing Link Artistry in 2020 as a place to store portfolios of work, and to sell original artwork; it has grown into several wholesale/consignment opportunities across the state as well as an ever-expanding network of design clients across the US. A lot of his work centers on activism, be it for disability, mental health, or the LGBTQ+ community, and raising money for relevant organizations is part of his business model. Other interests include folklore creatures, as he is fascinated by how stories are passed down and changed through generations; punk values and the DIY scene; assorted pop culture influences; and anything else spurred by insomnia.

Being the “missing link” for clients and customers isn’t just about facilitating a purchase or a one-off design; it’s about nurturing lasting relationships and standing up for those who have been marginalized in society.
