The Book Bike is our mobile library on wheels—designed to bring books to parks, community events, and other public spaces.
Can I pick up holds and ILLs at the Book Bike?
Anyone with a North Liberty Library card can check out materials at the North Liberty Book Bike. When you ask for a hold or Interlibrary Loan let us know you’d like to pick it up at the Book Bike.
How do I get a library card?
You can register for a library card at the Book Bike or online.
How do I return books?
You can return your books at any of the Book Bike stops or at the North Liberty Library.
Where do I find schedule updates?
Bookmobile service will occasionally be interrupted by holidays and inclement weather. For the most up-to-date information, look at our daily schedule on this web page.
The North Liberty Community Center was designated bike-friendly in 2022 by Bike Iowa City, a local organization supporting local biking and bike tourism. This designation acknowledges the amenities and offerings the Community Center has for cyclists.
