The North Liberty Library is seeking an enthusiastic and engaging instructor for our weekly English as a Second Language class.

Pay: $20/hr
Education requirement: None
Job Type: Contract

• Classes will be held weekly at the North Liberty Library at 6:30pm on Monday evenings for a period up to 40 non-contiguous weeks.
• The library will provide all necessary materials and equipment.
• Weekly discussion topic(s) will be determined by library staff with input from the host.
• The host will be responsible for moderating the session and to make sure the discussion runs smoothly and foster conversation when needed.

Requirements:

• Native-level English speaker
• Ability to attend meetings in person at the library
• Enthusiastic and Engaging speaker with excellent written and verbal skills.
• Strong organizational skills
• Previous experience with language instruction greatly desired.
