Auditioning for a Musical: What to Do, How to Do It, and How to Feel Good Doing It

January 2, 2019 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Workshop hosted by Christopher Okiishi

For anyone interested in performing in school and/or community musical theatre productions, auditioning is an intimidating – but necessary – part of the process. This fun and interactive workshop is designed for junior high & high school students and led by seasoned community theatre production staff.

Participants will learn how to prepare a theatrical resume, what the “special skills” are for a musical audition, and how to present themselves in the audition room as best they can… whether a newcomer or a seasoned performer.

Please bring a section of a song to sing (or we will help you find one). Please come dressed to move!
